Insightful Counselling Solutions.

"Who looks outside dreams; who looks inside, awakens" -Carl Jung

Why Us

"One size fits all" is a familiar idiom, but in the world of counselling, it rarely holds true. Every individual, couple, and family brings a unique story, shaped by diverse experiences, emotions, and responses. As a Counsellor, I recognize that no single intervention can meet the needs of all clients. My role is to listen deeply, gain insight into each person’s journey, and tailor interventions that reflect their specific needs and goals.

Counselling is a collaborative process. Together, we build a foundation of trust, safety, and connection. You can expect a trauma-informed, nonjudgmental, and supportive space where your voice and experience guide our work. Whether you're seeking to process trauma, manage emotional dysregulation, resolve conflict, improve communication, or develop practical strategies for daily life, your goals are at the heart of our therapeutic journey.

Whatever brings you to this space, I want to acknowledge the strength it takes to reach out. Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, your family, or your relationship, I am here to walk alongside you as we work toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.

Services can be provided in English or Punjabi.

About Me

Harpreet Saini

Harpreet Saini

I am a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Master of Social Work program (2009) and a practicing Registered Social Worker. With over 15 years of experience, I have worked extensively with children, individuals, and families navigating trauma and crisis. My work has included facilitating individual, group, and family-centered interventions, as well as providing crisis counseling during moments of acute stress. When working with families and young children, I deeply believe in the power of play therapy. Play offers children a natural and expressive way to share their feelings and experiences—often when words fall short. I also value the healing potential of parent-child play therapy, which strengthens connection and fosters emotional growth for both the child and the parent. To support this work, I have completed additional training through the Canadian Association for Play Therapy and approach family counselling through an attachment-based lens. To further support trauma recovery, I have completed Level 1 training in both Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Lifespan Integration. These evidence-based approaches enhance my ability to support both children and adults in processing complex trauma and building resilience. In my work with couples, I draw on Level 1 training in the Gottman Method, a research and evidence-based approach to relationship therapy. This method helps couples improve communication, manage conflict more effectively, and deepen emotional and physical intimacy. I support couples in identifying patterns that may be keeping them stuck and work collaboratively to build healthier, more connected relationships. Approaches EMDR (Level 1), Life Span Integration (Level 1), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed, Attachment Based Therapy, Play Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method (Level 1)
